New smaller Mini car set for launch in 2012
"At 9ft long, it will be smaller than the acclaimed BMW model introduced a few years ago, but will feature the same mod cons.
The two-seater city car will rival other small cars such as the revived Fiat 500, motor industry sources said."

"Efficiency is key, even for this sporty version, and the newcomer will make use of a new 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder engine turbocharged engine currently being developed by BMW.
Despite boasting close to 150bhp, the new engine should be capable of achieving 50mpg and CO2 emissions of just under 110g/km thanks to BMW’s EfficientDynamics tweaks. Expect to see stop/start, brake energy regeneration and an aerodynamic design among the changes.
With dimensions only slightly larger than the original Issigonis designed Mini, the tiny JCW is bound to inherit some of the traits which made the original such fun to drive."

Hij zal binnenkort op de Detroit motorshow staan dus dan zien we wel hoe die er uit gaat ziet. Het zal vast een concept zijn. Die gefotoshopte raadplaatjes zeggen helemaal niks.

vind die hoek in de daklijn (bovenkant) 3x niks alhoewel ik de rest wel geinig vind. Gewoon vierkant trekken dat ding!!! dan wordt het pas retro

Kijk dit is gaaf !!
Ik hoop dat deze "echte" mini wel laag geprijsd zal zijn waardoor er lekker veel van verkocht zullen gaan worden. Dit in tegenstelling tot de IQ die buiten lelijk ook nog eens onwijs duur is. Beetje zelfde verhaal als met de new beetle toentertijd.. best geinig, maar veels te duur.

Dit nieuws stamt min of meer eigenlijk al uit September 2010
Hopelijk komen er binnenkort dan wat spyshots of we wachten maart maar af.
