Lager vervangen CVT bak
Geplaatst: 20 mar 2018, 15:40
Dag allen,
I used a 46mm socket and impact wrench to remove the large nut holding it all in. To pull the bearing itself, I simply screwed a couple decking screws into it and pulled on those with misc tools till it came out. It came out pretty easily. I pressed the new bearing back in using a piece of PVC pipe that was the correct size to hit the outer bearing and tapped it with a hammer.
When putting the Pump back in, be sure you get the 'Pitot' Tube in the correct orientation, or you will smash it like the previous people inside my transmission did. I was able to fix it, but just watch for that.
Here's the video I used as my guide, but I did my own thing most of the way through.
I wish I still had the car, and I'd be happy to take some photos to explain more, but unfortunately, it's gone.
Here is a link to the Pitot so you know what I'm talking about:

Here is where they pull the cover off that you need to pull off. I did it while still in the car:
Here is where they speak about the Pitot Tube:
At this point, you can see the Large Nut in the Larger Opening. The Bearing is directly below that. You don't need to open the other cover, only the Large Round one.
