I got a Cooper D ALL4 on Thursday as a courtesy car! I want a countryman!!

What is that special on a Countryman ?
The handling and the road-contact are not as good as the Clubman, because of it's weight.
It's more comfortabel and quieter.
Did you have the manual or the step-tronic ?

I don't know what it was, I liked the height and the space inside, plus 5 proper doors!

It was a manual. Maybe its just the novelty of getting a big MINI for the day

Car has been lowered on Cobra Suspension lowering springs, thanks to Coen!

Had them fitted today in a local BMW specialist along with full laser alignment

Well in the garage for over 2 months

Ride comfort isn't too bad, some of our roads aren't brilliant so I will report back!

any suggestions as to size of spacers i need? 10 or 15mm?

This is a good refference for you i guess. Lowered about the same amount as your mini with 15mm spacers (wheels have the same offset). Maybe 12 mm would be a good middle between 15 and 10, if you think 15 is too much. Personally i think 10mm is just not cutting it...
