Heey Chad,
Awesome exhaust you've ordered!
But i have a question, hope you can clearify this for me, you're are filter is mounted in the back of the car, Do you have any power loss what so ever? Because of hot air getting into the engine?

I have a ScanGauge II and it shows air temps cooler than with the stock setup. With the factory air box removed there is a large space between the engine and the firewall all the way down to the steering assembly.Lots of room for air to flow.

After finding oily residue on the throttle body I removed the entire intake manifold and found it completely coated in oil residue. The cause was the crankcase vent valve.According to MINI that's normal for the design of the engine. I disagree as oil residue in an intake restricts air flow among other things. Anyway I cleaned the entire manifold and throttle body and rerouted the intake to under the rear of the engine where there is consistent cooler air. The MINI pulls much better now with a smoother idle. Currently has 70,000 miles. As for the MCS engine change I have the ordered the GT28 turbo kit and look forward to the tuning that will soon be available here in the states. I'm having problems sourcing a Cooper D bonnet. More to come in the near future. Here's some pics of the intake setup.
Cheers To All

I love the porsche! My parents had the same (also a 2.0) back in the 80's. One of only 6 in Belgium then. A shame they had to sell it when my mother was pregnant

Nice sound Chad
I see you're from Charlotte. Small world.
My grilfriend Erna (nickname MiniBeardie) was there last year while visiting friends near Raleigh.
She also visited Hendrick MINI in Charlotte. But you didn't buy yours there i see.

That she is standing next to a hot chocolate Clubman, which i bought six months after her visit, is pure coincidence

Time for some updated pictures. I still have the original N12 motor at 90k miles now but with a polished and ported head, cowel induction, full Superspirnt Header/Exhaust with an Upsolute ECU remap putting 148 ft/lbs of tq at the hub and still running strong.
I think I've squeezed all the power that's possible out of this motor so next comes the task of swapping in an MCS N14 with the Stage 1 JCW package.
More to come.....
