Dutch Mini's sighted in Kirkcaldy Fife Scotland

Hi Guys...

Sorry...don't speak Dutch....and I know this will be the wrong place to post...again sorry

I was at a DIY superstore today in Kirkcaldy....and saw 3-4 Dutch Mini's pass by.

One was a pimped out Red Mini Clubman...and there was a Convertible as well...

Just wondered if it was any of the guys on here?

Ah!...OK!...I tried to catch up with those guys....but I was driving my Smart car at the time...no chance

I have spoken with TBL before on New Mini Scotland...would have liked to meet him.

I must say...the clubman looked really nice!!!!

I have checked Marcel's pictures in the gallery...and it does seem it was his convertible i saw.....he has union jacks on the back of his rear headrests.

The clubman had tinted side and rear windows....i can't remember the colour. They were almost passed me before i noticed them. The clubman was lowered I think...and may have had black and chrome or silver wheels....I think there was black lettering or logo's on the sideskirts???

It wasn't until i saw 3 or 4 Mini's that I realised that it must have been a Mini club....and then spotted the NL on the registration plates.

Pity I couldn't catch up with them....I'm a member over on New Mini Scotland...although i haven't had time recently to be too involved with them. Would have been nice to have met up!

Hi VintageB3, thanks for your nice comments.

With 7 people in 4 minis we had further extended our Mini United holiday on to a tour through Scotland (Northampton > Selkirk > Edinborough, St. Andrews, Port Williams, Glenfiddisch Isle of Skye, etc) only to return yesterday. We also went to various castles, whiskey distilleries and returned via Donington for the Formula 1 museum.

You will also have observed the blue & chrome mini which is owned by The Blue Lobster. (CLICK) The red clubman is not active on this internet forum.
The cabrio is my car: you may probably have spotted the chickens in the back seat
